Biography
He received the M.E. degrees in applied physics from the University of Tokyo, 1998. In 1998, he joined NEC Corporation, Tsukuba, Japan, where he was engaged in research on ultrafast optoelectronics, quantum information devices and infrared detectors. Since 2018 he has been managing quantum computing research group. Since 2019 he has been Director of NEC-AIST Quantum Technology Cooperative Research Laboratory, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Tsukuba, Japan.
